Have I commented here already...? My memory fails. Anyway, I really like this picture for some reason. I think it's because the "innocence" (of what they have, come on, they're tadpoles) or being naive makes it kind of... How to form the correct words, um... Dark humor. Like one might think, it's funny how the tadpoles can't recognize their own mother is dead, but tragic at the same time. At least, that is kind of how I view it. It's also because they'll never know what happened - makes it darker for me. You know, just the innocent "Wake up, mama. Are you sleeping?" is so pitiful.
